Overview of renewable microgrids and/or storage—what are they and why are they necessary? Why do microgrids and battery storage systems make sense for saving money, meeting city power requirements during power outages and more! Microgrids have come a long way. They are not complex or difficult, and there is great opportunity for your City to be ready and prepared.
We will share diverse city examples such as Fremont, San Diego, San Leandro, Sacramento and Arvin, CA. There will be a review of the nuts and bolts of a project and the players, and some financial models for ensuring success in your city.
